Fortune Teller/Tarot Card Reader:
Is there a difference between Fortune Telling
and Tarot Card Reading? What other methods of Fortune Telling are there
then Reading Tarot, and how does one start such a business? Well, I had these
questions when I first thought of this work at home business. I searched
around and found a wonderful woman that was open to answering all of my
questions regarding this business. I did not know anything until she
answered my questions!Heather has an online business that she runs, you can
reach her by email for questions or to find out information on her reading at
higinbotham98@aol.com.
She has answered some questions for us regarding her business and how to get
started:

What first
interested you in the art of Tarot Card Reading?
I actually got interested after watching a movie called "The Craft" when I was
16. I then went to a book store and got my first cards, which I still use today.
How did you learn about Tarot Card Reading?
I just dabbled in a lot of different things, like spell casting, aura viewing
and this led me naturally to divination. Tarot is one of the easiest forms of
divination to learn, so I went with it.
Was it something that was easy to learn, or did it take longer than you
expected?
Tarot reading is fairly easy to do, but to be really good and accurate it takes
lots of study. Most advanced readers use other divination forms to add depth to
their readings. I use numerology, astro-geomancy, pendulum work, and
clairvoyance to spice up my readings. To learn the basics is a matter of
memorization, but to learn the art is work that takes a lot of soul.
How do you feel about your business?
My business, Original Tarot, is fairly new and I've already learned from some
mistakes. Overall I am pleased because I went at it with no budget and still
managed to bring in customers. I also love helping people which the greatest
thing I get from Tarot reading.
How long have you been Tarot Card Reading?
I've read Tarot since I was 16. That is almost 9 years.
Do you do readings in your home or only through emails?
I mostly read through emails, except for family.
There are women that are interested in learning about Tarot Card Reading, what
advice do you have for them?
There is a lot of information out there online, in book stores, even in the
library. If you feel drawn to the Tarot you should just go for it. Type in
"Tarot" or "Learning Tarot" and you should find many free sources to help you
learn. Also when you buy a deck you will get a small booklet that will teach the
basic card meanings and easy spreads. The most important advice I can give is to
be open-minded, and this isn't just for those wanting to learn, but anyone
coming in contact with the Tarot. It is a very misunderstood art and should be
studied before coming to any conclusion about what it is or what is can do.
