Is a newsletter and a ezine the same thing? What exactly is a ezine?
They are basically the same thing, but an ezine is more of an online magazine where as a newsletter is product updates and site developments and such. They are accepted as the same thing by most of us.

Why is an ezine important?
I believe an ezine is the lifeline of your business. An ezine allows you to stay in contact with your readers and to show that you are trustworthy and reputable. Building a reputation for your and your business like this is extremely important. The more you come through with a quality ezine, the more you establish yourself and your business.

How long have you been creating ezines?
I have been publishing ezines for about 5 years. I started with a Watkins Life Enhancements Ezine when I was a Watkins rep and then went to Web Success Ezine. After I sold web success, I started My Own Ezine. I have always enjoyed ezine publishing and I love putting together a quality ezine for my readers.

How did you get started?
As I mentioned, I was a Watkins Consultant and wanted to start an ezine. Well, I was very unsure of myself, but a great lady named Cathy Bryant gave me the boost of confidence I needed to get started. I loved it from the very first moment! I did pretty well and Cathy stuck by me until I felt comfortable enough to not need a shoulder to lean on. From then on, I knew this business was what I was meant to do. ;-)

What market do you write ezines for?
MOE is for anyone who wants to start or build any type of online business. I try to help my readers in all aspects of online marketing while focusing on ezine publishing.

How do you come up with content?
I watch, I search, I write, I listen, I gather, I research........... after awhile finding content becomes automatic so to speak, because you are always alert for new products, resources, etc. Email discussion groups, message boards, other ezines, websites, article lists are all places you can find content for your ezine.

Do you do any writing, other than for ezines?
I do provide an article writing service as well as many others. I have always enjoyed writing and plan on doing a third ebook in the near future. I really try to write in a way that is going to help people and not just fluff things up. ;-)

What is your favorite topic to write about?
I have no specific topic that is my favorite, but writing to help others is what I enjoy the most. I am a little partial to self help and motivational articles.

What was the best advice given to you when you first got into creating ezines?
Do not doubt yourself. You can do it!

If you were to give someone interested in getting into creating ezines one piece of advice, what would that be?
Create your ezine for your readers, be there for your readers and have faith in yourself because you can do it! ;-)
